SYNOPSIS

An assemblage of landscape shots around the Rossinère village in Switzerland, where the painter Balthus used to live at the end of his life, combined with a voice-over text by Antonin Artaud. This contemplative landscape film also serves as a commentary on the politics of place and topography.
