SYNOPSIS

Pennsylvania 1979: Darrell picks up his BB gun to play soldiers in the woods with his friend Eugene who has secretly invited Lizzie, the neighborhood firebrand, to tag along. The three children encounter war, death, jealousy, and adolescence on an otherwise tranquil afternoon.
