SYNOPSIS

In 1954, the short film "Les maîtres fous", by French film director and ethnologist Jean Rouch caused widespread controversy. An insulting film for some, a film on savages for others, everyone had a different yet negative interpretation, depending on their skin colour. Today the film is shown to young French students in high schools. What do they make of it?
