SYNOPSIS

New York 1913. Recent Greek immigrant Mary (Maria) Ford is accused of killing her lover. Maria claims the real killer is her husband. But her husband is already dead. Maria's defense is the story of how she came to America. We journey five thousand miles away to her birthplace in old Asia Minor.
