SYNOPSIS

An old woman lives alone in an apartment in Eastern Europe, where it seems that time has stood still. Her only escape from the harsh reality are memories of her youth with her sister whom she lost during the Holocaust. The reality is replaced by fantasies about what was and what could have been.
