SYNOPSIS

The icon of modernist architecture - the skyscraper - becomes in LIFT a vehicle to question modes of living together. As the camera moves up in a traveling shot along the facade, the repetition of seeing the balconies - "floor after floor" - turns into an uncanny affect.
