SYNOPSIS

Maria and Lea are young actors and best friends, but the uprising Nazi regime and Marias´s husband divide them slowly as Lea is Jewish. When she is about to be deported Maria realizes what her friendship to Lea really means. She can’t rescue Lea but maybe her little daughter Charlotte, and risks her own life.
