Shot in a former coal mine, Franck Vigroux performs an audienceless musical set including electro-noise, industrial and electroacoustic material. Between the "Room of the hanged" and the underground galleries, the musician creates a dialog with a place still haunted by its ghosts. « The combination of the dark satanic mills with the gasps of static and low-frequency swells of the soundtrack finally recalls those horror films of the 1980s (Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Christine for example), in which the abstracted, semi-incarnate signifiers of industry wreak revenge upon a younger generation intent on their obsolescence. This is a vigorous, modern dream of a witches’ sabbat, its sound as ruggedly abrasive as its concrete turf. » (Robert Barry / The Wire)
