SYNOPSIS

Ettore is an old man living in a back street on the southern outskirts of Rome. After the umpteenth cut in his pension he goes to a pawn shop, but what he offers is considered useless. As he finds it impossible to get by he takes a drastic decision that he won't be able undo.
