SYNOPSIS

Morning in a district court somewhere in Dublin, Bridie Foley is waiting to hear the clerk call her son's name. Bernard Foley has been caught stealing a car and Bridie is offering her state allowance as a guarantee that Bernard will keep his court date. A mother's sacrifice to keep her family intact.
