SYNOPSIS

On the island of Nioumoune, in Senegal, Boniface, a priest torn by his desires, escapes from his parish. Aboard his boat, he crosses the maze of mangroves. In search of freedom, he undertakes a journey where he will face his hidden desires and the vastness of the Mauritanian desert.
