SYNOPSIS

Theyyam is a ritual art form dating back to 1800 BC, which has survived in the Kannur district of Kerala, India. On the day of the performance, the Gods are summoned into the bodies of people who belong to oppressed castes. All people, irrespective of their caste, bow to them to seek their blessings.
