SYNOPSIS

During the 2nd World War, two Jewish sisters, Bertha and Lisl are fleeing from the Nazi terror. Whilst they are hiding in a cellar, a German housewife steals the girls’ last piece of bread. The Police come the next morning and search the house. Yet she doesn’t betray them. They manage to escape again.
