SYNOPSIS

In tropical Recife, a Dutch architect studies the colonial past - or is she seeking erotic freedom? An ambitious actress is looking for more professional challenge than Recife can offer. A respected musician wallows in melancholy self-castigation and hatred for the city he cannot live without.
