SYNOPSIS

SPECTRES OF MODERNITY observes the demolition of the Ballymun high-rise housing in Dublin,a dystopian echo of Corbu's 'Radiant City'. Juxtaposed with these brutalist ruins, the modular fashions of Mary Quant and the Mondrian dress become ciphers of modernism as the community reflect on their loss.
