SYNOPSIS

In the middle of winter, the painter Charles Belle installs a large canvas in the forest and starts to draw. Six hundred and eight days, seven seasons and twenty full moons later, the marks of time and changes in weather combine with the painter's strokes to create a work that has become a presence in the world.
