SYNOPSIS

FOUR ISLANDS follows an ageing father and his three grown-up sons on their journey through Bosnia and Herzegovina. Unwilling to confront their father's old age, they develop a fascination for the leftover ruins of the 90s Balkan war and their touristic behaviour becomes increasingly transgressive.
