SYNOPSIS

PORCELAIN is an experimental film exploring skin lightening, the concept of 'whiteness' and its commercialisation in Southeast Asia; a subject producer Xenia Glen has personal experience of as a young Filipina. The film was awarded the Last Word Film Fund by the Ex-Animo Foundation and Roundhouse.
