SYNOPSIS

A retired 85-year-old man tries to describe his simple everyday life in the neighborhood of Copacabana, in Rio de Janeiro, but memories of his imprisonment in the Auschwitz Concentration Camp during World War II come to his mind. Aleksander Laks, a Polish immigrant, tells his true life story.
