SYNOPSIS

Cezeslaw Bodrov, or "The Pole", is a widowed Brittany farmer who lives on his own on an old farm. He no longer speaks to his daughter Ida since she got married to an Asian. After his daughter leaves with her husband and newborn baby, "The Pole" buys a lamb to offer to his grandson.
