SYNOPSIS

In the early 1960s, Loan, a young Vietnamese woman, and her Eurasian husband Pierre land in a village in central France as part of a repatriation program for the French living in Indochina. Loan believes that their situation is temporary and that she will shortly head back to Vietnam.
