SYNOPSIS

6 dancers. A burnt-down forest. Based on a dance piece, The Art of Losing, by choreographer São Castro, this film creates a narrative around loss and the poem “One Art", by Elizabeth Bishop. Filmed in the devastated area of Pinhal de Leiria, in Portugal, it attempts a cinematographic reflection on dance.
