SYNOPSIS

Khalida and Arlo, a couple in their fifties, live on the 21st floor of a low-rent tower. Khalida wants to attend a demonstration despite her crutch. Arlo, hesitant, feels obliged to accompany her. But when they find the elevator to be out of order, Khalida is not discouraged, and the couple begins the long descent via the stairway.
