SYNOPSIS

A remote piece in a no man´s land. A dusty, barren area in between the railway line and the highway. A few campfires flaring up. Groups of people gathering here and there. Silent images, fragments of moving conversations, calmly direct the viewer's attention to the microcosm of individual destinies in the context of foreign affairs. What seemed so abstract, and at quite a distance, suddenly becomes close, and real.
