SYNOPSIS

As an immigrant to the US, Vela left behind her home, her family, her traditions and beliefs. A decade later, she makes her way back to a remote homestead in the arid landscapes of Lara, Venezuela, as memories of her past haunt her. While Vela has become a different person, the way home looks exactly the same, as if time had never passed.
