SYNOPSIS

CHURUBUSCO is the story of an Italian immigrant, Gaetano Rizzo, who enlists in the Union Army to fight in the Mexican-American war, hoping that the army will grant him a piece of land to own. In this scenario, full of immoral and xenophobic fanatics craving for personal glory, Rizzo decides to desert. Whether to join the Mexicans or go his own way, that will be the hardest choice for him.
