SYNOPSIS

In 1995 Las Vegas, a homesick cover-band singer writes an original song to connect with her daughter who is growing up in the Philippines without her. Maya is an overseas worker singing at a casino hotel lounge, wrestling between the prospect of becoming a pop-culture photocopy for an inattentive audience and her passion to create original music.
