SYNOPSIS

The noble Madellis family, and at its head the tyrannical Mrs Leo, forces Charlotte to marry the first person who comes along. If not they will lose Uncle Casimir’s inheritance! Except that the (un)happy chosen one, Emile, an artisan neighbor, is really in love with Charlotte.
