SYNOPSIS
The tin mining industry has shaped the Indonesian islands of Bangka-Belitung for over 300 years. We see a beautiful yet dead landscape. The mines eat their way through the soil, extracting tin for smartphones and other electronics while angering the spirits of the forest, the land and the sea.
