SYNOPSIS

A second-generation Chinese American woman pieces together the memory of her mother's last days when her mother had lost the ability to speak English due to Alzheimer's disease. All she could speak was Chinese, a language her daughter does not understand. In spite of it all she finally connects with her mother's heritage as well as her own roots.
