SYNOPSIS

Mdm Low Yoke is a Singaporean famous choreographer. In the 1960's, she was in secondary school and suffered because of Singapore's bilingual education policy. She then felt marginalised in her professional life and decided to express her feelings and thoughts through her dance pieces. In 2018, she was one of the Cultural Medallion award recipients in Singapore. This is an exploration of her feelings towards the Singapore Chinese identity.
