SYNOPSIS

An elderly author with a drink problem is struggling to connect with younger readers and find his place in modern literature as a result. Out of sadness and loneliness, he follows his neighbour's advice and calls up a prostitute. She offers to arrange a party at his house with her friends but everything rapidly gets out of hand.
