SYNOPSIS

In the small town of Bougainville, the mayor, who has been in office for 25 years, has seen his authority challenged by Claude Favre, a Bougainvillean activist who has made the mayor's removal from office the priority of his campaign. One day, Julie Favre, a writer and Claude's daughter, is invited to the town hall for a ceremony organized in her honor.
