This is a portrait of Irene, a woman small in stature but with a personality twice as big as her size and a voice that carries all the way to the next village. It is a portrait of a time past but still present. While slaughtering a pig and preparing the traditional blood soup, she tells her story and gives her view on everything from menstruation to supermarket meat to cholesterol.
