SYNOPSIS

A man died under mysterious circumstances. The local people blamed his wife, a young healer, and banished her from the village. When an affliction hit the village, the people believed they had been cursed by the outcast woman. They discovered she was living in the forest, found her and burnt her at the stake, like a witch. But before doing so, they sent a priest to have a final word with her.
