SYNOPSIS

An ethnographic essay/poem where fictional images are based on an investigation into a Mauritian dance born during the slavery period. From the pixels of the digital images and the signals of the electronic beats, this film exhumes the layers of landscapes in a pre-recorded archive of a ritual erased by History through a personal genealogy.
