SYNOPSIS

On the other side of the river Tagus, opposite Lisbon, on the south bank: Almada... Paulo is sitting on an old armchair in a barber’s shop. He reads excerpts from a play by Chekov and transposes the scene to Almada. He has already left to look for work elsewhere. He thinks he’ll go back.
