Qausuittuq in Inuktitut means, “The place where the sun doesn’t rise;” through the lens of filmmaker Min Bae, a cinematic language that engages about the parable of a small hamlet whose visuality is equally affected by both nature and the man: the landscapes boast both the surreal climate fluctuation of the majestic North Pole as well as the aftermath of an industrial site.
