The cliffs of Etretat, painted numerous times by Monet, are a spectacular landscape carrying a million years old memory, that of microorganisms and dinosaurs transformed overtime into a block of chalk. A View From The Cliff tells the story of a day in front of the Cliffs. Tourists and seagulls take part in the celebration of Bastille Day. Behind the crowd, immobile, the cliffs stand still.
