SYNOPSIS

An intelligent middle-aged man gets lost in his own thoughts, doubts and conjectures, goes crazy and finds himself in the hands of cynical medical workers who bring him creepy and strange visions in which he argues with death, endlessly plays Russian roulette with a mysterious criminal youth and rushes around the basement, meeting its inhabitants.
