SYNOPSIS

The intimate portrait of Maëlis Bekkouche, a French-Algerian multidisciplinary artist who incorporates fish skins into her unique creations with her body as the canvas. By recycling and breathing a new life into the discarded and unvalued skins of fish, Maëlis embraces the properties of the fish and as such not only celebrates the wondrous creatures but reveals her mysterious self.
