Ousmane, known as "DJ", settled in Baboto to make a living off traditional gold panning in a gold-bearing zone in southwest Mali. But, near the village, a multinational company is preparing to launch the exploitation of a new industrial mine on the gold seekers' site: soon, a fence will prevent the gold miners from accessing their vein…
