The sung film is about Hetty Smit (83). She is member of a senior (75+) pop choir and grew up with pop music. They rehears the swinging Blue Suede Shoes. Hetty’s life story is told in archive footage and by the song composed and performed by Norah Hendriks (20). The generations touch: when the choir sings you feel the swinging beat of the sixties; Norah’s song reflects the passing of time.
