In 1964 Carlo Levi, Italian painter, writer and politician, publishes “Tutto il miele è finito” - a little known portrait of the island of Sardinia. After 70 years since his visit, in a dialogue with Levi’s gaze and storytelling, the film retraces a series of micro narratives as pictorial visions which address the contemplation of landscape and the attempt to portray a community in transition.
