In this adaptation of the tale by Albert Camus, a French engineer arrives in the city of Iguape, during a pilgrimage, to provide a service. He meets a man who promised to carry a stone on his head during the Bom Jesus procession. The night before the event, the devotee takes the engineer to the party of Ogun, from Umbanda, his other faith, uncertain if he will have strength to carry the stone.
