Sa’a, a town founded by the Germans in the early 20th century then occupied by the French, is comprised of a majority of buildings left by the colonisers, which are now in an advanced state of ruin. This gives the town its ghostly appearance. Why doesn’t the local population who inherited these colonial buildings reappropriate this architectural heritage?
