SYNOPSIS

The story takes place in southern China in around 2007. Fang Lan, who is a 10-year-old girl, comes from a migrant worker family. After transferring to a big city, she is entering her "adolescence" and begins to feel her "difference". Driven by a strong sense of inferiority, Fang Lan's inner dark comes forth, but a mistake makes her relationship with her desk mate Jiaqi closer.
