SYNOPSIS

Murphy, a young black girl of Congolese descent, suffers from depression. She is twenty years old but, despite her age, she cannot gather the strength to face her mother and confess her angst. Her family is very religious and attached to appearances so, to survive, Murphy has no other choice than to hide in her bed.
