SYNOPSIS

In 2000, after nearly 20 years in power, former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe (1980-2017) began his highly controversial and sometimes violent, Fast Track Land Reform Programme (FTLRP). The FTLRP, was aimed mainly at redistributing white owned farmland to the indigenous population, nonetheless the redistribution had mixed results which affected Zimbabweans across cultural boundaries.
