SYNOPSIS

Dyer tradesman Kyuzo becomes enamored by a picture depicting the most sought-after courtesan in Edo, Takao. Kyuzo has not been working because of his lovesickness, so unable to stand by and do nothing, his boss promises Kyuzo that he will save up his earnings for the next three years. And so, three years later, Kyuzo finally heads to the red light district where he can find Takao.
